Privacy

Short version: no cookies, no advertising, and nothing that follows you from this site to another one. Visits are counted using a service that cannot identify you and stores nothing on your device. Everything it records is listed below.

What this site stores on your device

Nothing. No cookies are set, no local storage is written, and there is no advertising pixel or session recorder on any page. The analytics described below were chosen specifically because they store nothing on your device.

What loads from other companies

One thing: the analytics script described below, which loads from Plausible. Typefaces are served from this domain rather than from Google Fonts, so no request for a font leaves this site carrying your IP address. Apart from that script, the only external address on the site is a link to a LinkedIn profile, which does nothing until you choose to click it.

Analytics

This site uses Plausible, a cookie-free analytics service. It sets no cookies, stores nothing on your device, does not track you across other sites, and builds no advertising profile. That is why this site has no cookie banner.

It records the page viewed, the site you arrived from, your browser, operating system and device type, your approximate location worked out from your IP address — country, region and city — and which links you click that lead away from this site. Your IP address itself is not stored.

To count a returning visitor without identifying anyone, Plausible combines your IP address and browser details with a random value that is thrown away and replaced every twenty-four hours, keeping only the result. The same visitor cannot be recognised from one day to the next.

Server logs

The hosting provider keeps standard web-server logs — IP address, page requested, time, and browser identification — for security and reliability. These are not used to build a profile of you and are not shared, sold, or combined with anything.

If you email or call

Whatever you send is kept for as long as it takes to answer you and to keep a record of the work, and it is used only to answer you. It is never sold, rented, or passed to a marketing service. Ask, and it will be deleted.

Client data

Data belonging to client systems is governed by the agreement for that engagement, not by this notice. It is never used to train anything, never used as a portfolio sample without written permission, and never leaves the systems it was entrusted to.
